Mon Influence sur la Culture Francaise
The final outcome of my reign was not a very good one, but leading up to that the higher social classes had the best time in their lives. Though my actions, and also financial decisions led to my death, I was happy in the time I was alive. The great influences I had on the french culture included negative things like leaving the biggest national Debt behind of any other Monarch, but also shaping the history of france to such a great nation as it is.
I am remembered mainly in negative aspects, but in some positive things like being the beginning of the french revolution, which shaped france's history forever. Though I did not have so much of a success with producing an heir to the throne at first, I eventually had to face my destiny that was governed by the citizens. I took the death penalty with my head up, knowing that i had done many good deeds, some of them reversed my father's unjustified laws.
I gave back the power of the parliament, which i knew in the future would make this nation even better, and stand out in the world for all its innovations, and its great lifestyle...
Regarding the Lifestyle, my wife, Marie Antoinette celebrated wild parties, and costume balls, and with that disregarded the secrecy of going outside without the royal party. She was always quite the rebellious one. But, that lifestyle of the rich and wealthy ultimately lead to their overthrow in the French revolution.
So, overall, despite the many good choices made by me during my life, it seems as if that is overshadowed by the bad events that occured as a result of our lifestyle...
R.I.P.
Des traits de Caractère:
I was indecisive
I was easily influenced
I was sincerely interested in the well-being of my people
