I am the President of France and more importantly the father to three beautiful children and a husband to my beautiful model and wife Carla Bruni. I am proud to be one of Frances shortest rulers at 5 feet and 5 inches that is 1 and 1/4 inches shorter than the famous Napoleon Bonaparte. I like to keep fit by biking and jogging, being healthy makes me feel good about who I am.

     A lawyer at the Paris bar, I became Mayor of Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1983, a position I have held until 2002. Elected as a National Assembly deputy in 1988, I had held various government posts: Minister for the Budget (1993-1995), Minister for Communication (1994-1995), Government Spokesman (1993-1995) and President of France in 2007.

Mon Influence sur la Culture Francaise

     I have had a major impact on French Culture because my beliefs and ideas have transformed France into a modern country that is ready to compete in the International market place. My views about religion, workers pay, tax returns, and corporate officers have hit home with many people in France who want a strong and reunited France.  

     French people and the French Culture in the future will be impacted by my actions because I am implementing new ideas and policies. First, I will exempt overtime pay from tax and social security charges, protecting the workers who workhard going above and beyond. Next, I propose to cut four percentage points from tax/social charges and thus return 68 billion euros to the French people helping out the people in need and stimulating the economy to compete with other European superpowers. As the President I have baned "golden parachute" payouts to executives and prevent stock options being confined only to company bosses. Last but not Least, I strictly believe in slowing down the process of Global Warming, there is only one earth for everyone to live on so I believe in conserving what we have.

     I will have a major influence on Frances History and Culture because my policies and ideas will shape France into a modern superpower that can compete with other leaders such as China, India and the United States. I believe in helping the people so the economy and the country can thrive, these steps will hopefully have a long lasting impact on the culture of France.
