About Me:
Well, I have three sisters (love you Rebekah, Josefa and Lucia!) and I have one brother (Sam). I was elected president of my eigth grade class and now I am actually president (How cool is that!?)! Then I graduated from Johnson City High School. I went to California for a while in '25 and worked for a while as an Elevator Shaft operator (Oh the people you meet!).
Then I went back to Texas again and attended Southwest Texas State (which they changed the name of without my permision! I am the president of the United States for crying out loud! Don't I get to have any say in these important matters?! And I was pretty active in school too! I mean, I worked hard during school, I was an editor for the school newspaper, and I participated in debates! I mean yeah, I dropped out for a while...but I came back!)
But that is in the past now. I left the school and went on to even greater things. For example... schools!
I taught at a school in 1927. My first time teaching was at Wellhausen School. The school had a majority of Mexican students, then I taught at Pearsall High School, and then at Sam Huston High School.
I shall never forget the faces of the boys and the girls in that little Welhausen Mexican School, and I remember even yet the pain of realizing and knowing then that college was closed to practically every one of those children because they were too poor. And I think it was then that I made up my mind that this nation could never rest while the door to knowledge remained closed to any American.
So, I suppose that is how it all started. I got married to my lovely wife Claudia Alta Taylor. (she is so pretty and I love her so! xoxoxox ♥♥♥) And she has the nickname Lady Bird Johnson.
Date of Birth:
August 27th 1908 in a small farmhouse in the poor area of the Pedernales River. (near Stonewall, Texas)

During my stint as president, the political, social and economic factors and challenges that I had to deal with (at home) included:
Political
- I totally enacted a new civil rights bill and a tax cut that JFK wanted.
- A second term was out of the question by 1964 after passing the Civil Rights act- I had lost majority of my supporters.
- Many of my ideas on racism were not well liked by the Legislative branch.
Social
Economic
- I had to deal with the large unemployment rate of African Americans.
- I dealt with the unfairness in job discrimination for African Americans and other minorites (especially in the south).
