During my stint as president, the political, social and economic factors and challenges that I had to deal with (at home) included:

During the Iran Hostage Crisis, I tried relentlessly to free the hostages. Even during my final days as President, I was thinking of new ways to save American lives.

Looking back at my presidential career, I had to wear several "hats." Wearing these different "hats," these were my most significant achievements and failures:

I handled the Hostage Crisis as best as I could, by trying to reason with the kidnappers.

During the Energy Crisis, I repeatedly gave speeches and brainstormed solutions with my colleagues.

I was responsible for the peace between Menachem Begin of Israel and Anwar Sadat of Egypt.
Ceremonial Head of State
I did everything in my power to communicate with the Iranian government to save the 52 American hostages in 1979.

During the Energy Crisis, I did everything in my power to solve
