Today, when you drink milk do you want to feel save doing so? Do you want to store beer without it going bad after 3 days? Well due to my extensive research on microbacteria I invented the process of firmentation and pasteurization. Pasteurization is the process of heating, usually beer or milk, to kill off bacteria that can harm people drinking it or that cause the item to become bad. After seeing how many people were suffering under rabies and other diseases i decided to to something about that, following I developed several vaccines against rabies and also reduced mortality from puerperal fever. All my experiments involved my own theory, the germ theory. The Germ theory explains that there must be a microscopic organism causing disease.

Mon Influence sur la Culture Francaise
You should come up with a well written 3-4 paragraphs about how your person influenced french culture. This should be based on all the things you researched above.
**NEED THIS**
Although I am from a rich country, before my time there were only few scientists that were as significant as me in the study of chemistry.Through my extensive research and experiments I made it possible for not only noble people to be able to drink milk safely. The process I used for this is called "pasteurization", which is obviously named after myself, Louis Pasteur. All my studies can be better explained with important parts of my life.
I was born inDôle, France on December 27 1822. As a child it has always been my dream to become a professor. Although I was interested in science, my biggest passion was art, I drew tons of pictures, that were not only, however, mostly about science or nature. I graduated in Arts in 1840. After that I started studying physics and chemistry. I became a physics professor, and continued studying chemistry. After I presented an experiment about crystallography to an authorized person, I became famous, then I was 26 years old. I received the Copley Medal as a reward for my hard work. Since my work was deeply appreciated I was offered a chair in chemistry at the University of Strasbourg. At the University I found my wife and a very good opportunity to continue my work on crystallography. A couple years later I got a job in which I researched fermentation of Wine, Vinegar, and Beer. Fermentation is a process in which fruit juice transforms to be alcohol, however, this led me to the problem that these products cannot be stored or it is very hard to do and to be able to drink these products safely.
This opened a new chapter of my life. I started researching the reason for why these products went bad so fast. After a long time I found that it was bacteria that caused this. Now I searched for a solution to this, which ended up to be a process called pasteurization. During pasteurization the drink is heated to a certain temperature so that the bacteria loses its function by eventually dying. This killed the bacteria that made drinking milk or beer a risk, but also extended the storing time capacity of the products.
The last thing I did as a chemist was making vaccins. While I saw people suffering of rabies, just as I did with pasteurizastion, I thought that there must be a way to stop this. I examined rabies and its factors, and made testing vaccins. One day a boy was brought to me, he was bitten by a rabit dog 14 times. This was the time to test my vaccin, after a 12 day period and continued vaccins, the boy recovered and the vaccin was completed. This was the most significant thing in my life. It also changed the views of many people about me, however, this made me very popular and I was extremely honored. There was an Institute built in my name. When in 1940 a german officer wanted to know the secret to my tomb, the guard refused to tell and killed himself, this ... was the boy I saved from rabies 55 years ago.

Very nice job! You really put some time and effort into this wiki. I loved the way that you wrote this page; the personnage really added to the effect.
I like your slide show it definitely caught my attention, and I love zero! Also your resources are reliable. Also your opening sentence caught my attention immediately! Great job!
Fredi, ok I like the two beginning questions, they make me think, haha, well overall I think that you are the best person that could of done this person.
I like your page, it is very pretty! I especially liked the slideshow, it was great.
I think you should delete the "YOU MUST USE ACADEMIC SOURCES" at the bottom.
I really enjoyed the visual appeal that you created in his page and the song! I remember first hearing about him in science years ago, however I had no idea how much of a role he played in France. THis informed on a lot of new details and I ca tell that your spent time working on this page. Great job!
This page is really well done. I like the pictures and the information was really interesting. The paragraphs were very well written and had a lot of detail about Louis Pasteur's life. This page really has a great quality of work.

Nice paragraph on culture and good use of the slideshow. Wouldn't a man like this have more than on place of education, though?
